We all have a story, let me help you share yours.

BRAND PHOTOGRAPHY

The way in which you chose to share your story is vitally important to your brand and business. As the old adage goes, a picture tells a thousand words. A carefully considered set of photographs capturing the essence of your brand and its unique story will not only give customers insight into what you do but it will also give them a feel for how and why you do it.

With seven years experience working as an industrial designer in the Brand & Industrial Design team at Fisher & Paykel Appliances, I have the skills and knowhow to capture your brand and its story. When you share it with the world it will not only speak for itself, it will shine.

FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY

Having spent twelve years regularly contributing to highly regarded magazines such as Cuisine, Nadia Journal and Sunday Magazine, as well as Stuff and The Spinoff, I have learnt from and worked with some of New Zealand’s best. Working as an industrial designer in the early stages of my career means that I have a strong eye for composition, white space and colour, and the way that they work together. Additionally, my love for and mastery of natural light lends a beautiful depth and complexity to my work.

Over the years I have amassed a sizeable collection of props and backgrounds, from vintage to modern, natural to colourful and everything in-between so I can capture your food or product in the style that best suits your needs.

If you are looking to capture your restaurant or cafe for website or social media use I can be of assistance in this area too. Get in touch if you would like to find out more

PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY

Portrait photography can take the form of more formal photographs taken in a studio, or portraits shot in context, such as one’s workspace or home. It all depends on the story or message you want to capture and share.

I am an empathetic and kind person and find joy in connecting with my clients. This enables a sense of trust helping the client to feel relaxed in front of the camera. In that magic moment their true selves emerge and shine through in their photographs.
